After Dark at Gen Park: The Judy Chops
Get ready for another night of live music at Generations Park! Join us on Saturday, August 8, at 7:30 pm for an evening with The Judy Chops.
Known for their unique take on Americana, The Judy Chops blend modern and vintage musical styles to create a sound that is all their own. Whether you want to kick back and listen or get up and dance, there’s something for everyone!
This free concert is open to everyone. Bring a chair or blanket, sit back, and enjoy the music, or get up and dance the night away! Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. We’ll see you there!

Harris Concert Series: The Faithful Men
Come enjoy music by Faithful Men this Sunday, August 9, at 7:00 pm! The Faithful Men group was ecumenically formed in 1998 and celebrated their 25th reunion in August of 2023. They are members of 7 different Churches, and today they consist of 12 men and accompanist Orville Bame. They have performed at more than 630 events at approximately 200 venues. Although Sacred Music is the foundation for The Faithful Men, they do perform some secular music.
The Harris Concert Series takes place on Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 pm and will continue throught late August. Concerts are free and seating will be general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Concessions will also be available for purchase during the concerts.

Farmers Market at Rebecca’s Well Today
Local vendors are holding a farmers market at Rebecca’s Well on Main Street this evening, August 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
The market includes Revercomb Farms, Open Door Homestead, Southern Porch Homestead, Little Red Hen Bakery, Hannah Bees Apiary, SDG Crafts, After Its Kind, Overlook Farm South, and Elsie’s Coffee. They sell all kinds of local meats, produce, baked goods, and more! Rebecca’s Well is open throughout the market hours as well.
The farmer’s market is held on the first Friday of the month through October. While some vendors accept credit cards, others are only able to accept cash, so it’s best to have cash on hand.
